Taylor’s home and property serve as the primary locations for Childspace. Situated right in Herring Cove, the property offers a mix of both forested and open natural play spaces, providing opportunities for rich diverse outdoor experiences. Enhancing this further, the children are invited to use the available vegetable garden, mud kitchen, and a wide range of larger loose parts materials.
Inside, the space is bright and minimal showcasing mindfully selected regularly changing materials inspired by the children’s expressed interests and play. Material’s are selected to invite creativity and exploration. Taylor’s home is also home to two kitty cats, Thomas and Benjamin.
On outings the children will discover further the beautiful community of Herring Cove, exploring trails, green spaces, ponds, and the shoreline.
